Her problem however is that she has links to some unsavoury characters like Modi who are clearly denergratory to the socialist movement in their countries but honestly, if she isn't sending in US troops to help him put down strikers and Naxalites is there really much of a difference? I mean at the end of the day what is beneficial to the global left? End of unconditional US support for Israel (which might end as a result of the Israeli elections tbh, but that's a totally different story) End of unconditional US support for Saudi-Arabia End of US military interventions in the ME End of covert ops and threats of interventions in LA Support for Korea reunification Cooperation with DemSoc governments in the West I think that Gabbard meets that, heck Warren meets that, Bernie seems to have backtracked on a few of that, and also it is perfectly possible someone will materialise that meets these specifications that we haven't thought about.

A true social democrat, who wants to distribute the superprofits generated by imperialism more equitably.
