Opinion: We should back a mainstream candidate in 2019

Good.

Trump is the best president we've had tbh.

Okay Mr. Not Liberal, quick, what's the definition of socialism?

Your stay here depends on your answer.

Best does not mean "good" and I unironically agree, to the extent that he's accelerating the decline and actually did something good like killing the TPP.

Your entire party is a circlejerk of Third Way neoliberals, old-school center left Democrats like Huey Long have been almost nonexistent, and entirely powerless, for decades. In ideological terms, the actual difference between the two American first parties is quite small, mostly it's just wedge issues and identity politics. Why would we not want your useless faggot party to burn to the ground when it doesn't even represent our interests?
Trump did not win because socialism is unthinkable; years of vacuous red-baiting and pandering to religious people has already backfired and made it thinkable again. Trump won because Clinton is an unelectable imperialist warhawk cunt and a failed Machiavelli that threw the entire election out of hubris. Liberals constantly screech about Trump is LITERALLY HITLER when Clinton would have invaded three different countries by now–and they would defend it, like they unironically backed Obama's drone warfare and expansion of the surveillance state.
Even now, liberals cannot actually explain why a candidate like Sanders is such a bad thing. All they do is pelt him and his supporters with vague and unfounded accusations of muh sojiny and said nothing when the Democratic Party shamelessly sabotaged his campaign because Clinton was practically already decided. Keep in mind that Sanders is only slightly left wing, and even in the ages of Red Scares, there have been much further left figures in American politics.
Liberals are not leftists, they are center-right capitalist apologists.

Supporting a candidate for the purpose of causing destabilization of of the system could be a tactic to soften society for a takeover. Support someone who will cause more division than the Clinton/Trump 2016 campaign caused , that caused rioting on the streets for a couple of months, now imagine if you could find someone more divisive to support against Trump , neither of them would win, the government would collapse and communists could march to victory.

This has to be done in such a way that it looks like genuine supporters are doing it, and the objective is to throw as much gas on the fire as possible to cause massive civil unrest that can be used to facilitate the revolution.
