Obviously what this study points towards, if accurate and replicated (seriously, stop shilling science articles if you don't read the study or it hasn't been replicated yet), is that the undeniable differences in male and female psychology is rooted in hormonal chemistry rather its interaction with neurons rather than neurons directly, but the biological processes that produce those hormonal differences and the genes that encode them are material biological differences that can be categorized as masculine or feminine.

That's not the point. One can think of many measurable traits where the distributions in dogs and cats overlap to some degree. Body temperature, height at the withers, body mass, litter size, etc. For the same reason (i.e., overlapping distributions), you're not going to be able to use a univariate model to predict gender from brain parameters.
