Not really. They're more craft unionists, as in they don't want to be underpaid artists. If you ask an average Japanese what he thinks of communism, he'll think of North Korea or China. So the furthest left the Japanese can go is Keynesianism, trade unionism, social democracy, whatever you want to call it. For starters they could enforce labour rights that Europe takes for granted like a 5-day work week from their current 6-day work week, and punish corporations that break the currently-unenforced overtime laws. Maybe they can create a co-op sector like UK's Labour Party is proposing, but they would have to call it cooperativism, not market socialism.

That was a constant problem for her.
She really loved art, science, and philosophy but because of her appearance she was just a fat ass for people to gravel at, with very few people in her life to actually engage with her on an intellectual level. I really wish she had more people like that in her life.
