Reposting here from othee thread:

Russia Stronk, push for multipolar world then position Russian on as close to possible the dominant side in that multipolar world. Despite the exaggerated "muh russia" memes in the US and western europe rn Russia definitely does want the disunity of the west, and ironically the paranoid overstating of Russia's ability to infiltrate the west probably helps them more than hurts them. All in all pretty irrelevant to the left where it ends up falling, of course we would prefer a multipolar world that pulls the rug out from under US hegemony but that seems gaurunteed at this point. Of course it's relevant whichever way the cards fall but we shouldnt have any loyalty to someone like Putin besides the anti-imperialist minimum.

-What's his endgame?

Anti-imperialism is a good cause, but it doesn't turn the bourgeois politicians of other countries than the US/EU into the literal Messiah m8

this is bannable, but and aren't? Just because he has a nazi flag? These three posts are almost completely identical.

I don't understand what are you trying to say.

He doesn't have one, he isn't ideological, just a nationalist autocrat: did Horthy have an "endgame"? Nah, he just ruled mate.
Those that get in his way ruling. Putin is a pure pragmatist he doesn't give a shit about the west or glorious Slavonic Rus': he just wants to be the head of a powerful country.

How is my post which focuses on class war similar to that idiots conspiracy?

that he's a literal puppet to the Russian bourgoisie.

same thing I said, I fail to understand why are you complaining.

Ugly selfie…

He's a puppet to China so that they get oil.

He's also a puppet for swiss and london so that they get oil bux.

pootin is a very bad person.

I didnt imply that. Both parties are capitalist and imperialist but Russians are just weaker.

Putin is just a Capitalist politician, he is also the puppet of the Russian oligarchs, as far as I'm concerned, he is a piece of shit.

Oh, a lot of things no doubt. He no doubt would like to see less reliance on energy exports for Russia, influence over the economies of the near-abroad states, technical know-how and increased budget to fix a large but aging military (especially the navy), and increased partnership with the People's Republic to compensate for sanctions/barriers to trade with the EU and NA. Why even ask? What exactly do you think a Russian head-of-state would want?

The principle barriers to this are corruption/ambitious domestic opponents (like every fucking country) the US, Germany, and maybe China? They'll probably work out their differences with them in the long run though, they both have a great deal to gain by co-operating.

Im talking about WW3 between NATO and Russia that would kill most of their population muslims or not.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has warned that the threat of a nuclear war should not be discounted and criticized the U.S.′ move to withdraw from an international nuclear treaty. Speaking at his annual media press conference, Putin was asked by one journalist to assess the threat of nuclear war or a third world war.

This. He's a capitalist and a traitor to socialism but he is also staunchly anti-capitalist right now so he should be critically supportes. We need multi-polarity.

Wow
Its useful for the left to have a weak USA but emphasis should be on supporting China and not Russia.

He wants to undermine Western democracy through subversion and collusion with crony capitalists and right-wing parties
-Who/What is he fighting
He’s fighting liberalism and Western democracy

Sounds fucking based.

Thank you for your input Hilary

Obscure reference user, I like it.

It's true and a good thing, I welcome the end of liberalism

This is your brain on liberalism, lol.

What mod is this?

Red World

Off-topic but I see the point of divergence there is the USSR being present at the UN to veto intervention in Korea. Would that actually have made a difference?

how are they more "socialist" than Russia?

Do you recommend? I love Kaissereich but Chomsky run east coast seems kind of cheesy
