Zig Forums just doesn't fucking care. That their ideologies are incoherent and hypocritical is irrelevant to them, because they don't actually have any ideals or goals to uphold. Politics to them is just a game of petty interpersonal drama and feeling dominant over random online strangers so they can feel like they are mentally stronger than they really are. It is literally Internet role playing. In fact, many of them would be disappointed by the end of the liberal status quo, since they are consumer whores that fear conflict with real consequences. They like being able to whine about duh genewacy all day instead of having to form opinions on things that aren't emotionally charged enough to be fun to argue about.

the alt-right like to pretend that what they are doing and what they believe in is in some way part of some unveiling of truth about how the control system has pulled the wool over their eyes. yes they may even be larping that they are red pilled. but in the end of the day what does their ideologies boil down to? they are xenophobic / racist capitalists. there is nothing new or alternative about being a racist capitalist. they are the ordinary conservative voter, just with a desire to feel that they are part of some spiritual awakening and that they are somehow alternative and hip, which is pretty ironic / hypocritical of them, given that spiritual awakenings and wanting to be hip (be a hippy) is pretty liberal of them.
consider that a synonym for the alt-right could be the progressive-right, which is oxymoronic.
