Nobody important ever gets killed anymore.

Thank you

Macronist Repression Against the People in Yellow Vests
A State of Emergency That Does Not Say His Name:According to Vincent Brengarth, a lawyer at the Paris Bar, in recent years we have been witnessing a disturbing drift in police repression in France, more specifically since November 2015 when the state of emergency was pronounced and extended several times, before being integrated into common law. We would henceforth be under “a state of emergency that does not say its name,” with preventive arrests only based on suspicion, without concrete evidence of an offence.Figures from the Ministry of Law Enforcement:On Saturday, 8th December, the “Yellow Vests” movement maintained its progress as it gathered a total of 136,000 demonstrators throughout the country (including nearly 10,000 in Paris), a comparable level on Saturday the 1stof December while 106,301 people were counted during the previous weekend, according to the, regularly underestimated, figures of the Ministry of the Interior.

BlackRock CEO Larry Fink Tells Corporate CEOs to Engage in Better Eyewash
One of the sorry spectacles of modern life is having prominent individuals who profit from and serve as prime exemplars of major social ills trying to depict themselves as part of the solution, when they haven’t gone through any sort of Damascene conversion o give their virtue-signalling even a thin veneer of legitimacy.Today’s object lesson is Larry Fink, the Chairman and CEO of the ginormous fund manager BlackRock (not to be confused with the private equity/alternative asset manager Blackstone). BlackRock, with $6.2 trillion under management as of October, 2018, is the largest asset manager in the world,.Fink became a big cheerleader of sustainability in early 2018, which makes him awfully late to this party; “environment, social, and governance” has been an investment fad for well over a decade. We’ve embedded his 2019 letter letter to CEOs at this end of this post..

I think a lot of it is with the backdrop of brexit and the government saying "Yeah we should revise the GFA".

Yeah I suppose, but its pretty lazy, they ignore arms caches exploding because they're left on top of boilers, punishment shootings, the already extant cross border smuggling operations etc. but lavish attention on a shitty bomb?

holy shit this timeline might actually start going somewhere

Fair points, but you've got to remember most of us mainlanders are pretty ignorant about basic facts of Norn: I mean I didn't know until a few months back that you mostly have sectarian-segregated schools and that integrationism was a big issue. Heck the Northern Ireland SoS didn't know people fucking voted for Them'uns vs Us'uns.
But carbombs are sexy because people remember them in the UK, they don't remember the other shit related to the troubles (The drugs, arms, et al smuggling, the checkpoints, the punishment shootings) because that didn't affect them. I think it's why it is so easy for someone to be a loyalist on the Mainland because "the loyalists never did anything to us!".
I mean for us young lot, the troubles are just something that happened in distant history: I hear people singing in club toilets "Ohh, Ah, Up The 'Ra" and "FUCK THE IRA (Fuck the I-R-A)" in equal measure. The troubles is some historical thing you pick a side on and that's that. People think every catholic was a 'Ra supporter and every protestant was a noble British Patriot that loved Ian Paisley. They can't conceptualise a situation like Strabane: where a mostly catholic community was at odds with both the squaddies and the IRA, why would they not like either you have to pick a side! Also most have never heard of the NICRA or anything like it, and think the troubles just started overnight about Irish nationalism. It's really fucked if you think about it.

So are the Troubles back? Is Good Friday off? I thought dissident Republicans were a very small minority

We are nowhere near the troubles lad. GFA is still immensely popular. The dissos are small in number but are highly concentrated in Derry and have support in the South.

I've been to Davao. Duterte is a leftist. Aquinos tried to call him a Commie.

Public hospitals, nailing the rich. He's honestly better than the NPA.

Holy fucking shit what a surprise. Really activate my almonds there pal.
Listen you Dengoid fucktard, just because Duterte’s a shill for imperialism with Chink characteristics™️, doesn’t mean that the miserable fucker’s a leftist.

He has some commie allies but it is a stretch to call him leftist, even more so better than the NPA. He really wouldn't get as much goodwill if NPA isn't around.
