Late stage capitalism was taken over by socdems cause they were actually retarded enough to let socdems mod their sub Reddit. AHAHHAHA FUCKING TARDS.
R/latestagecapitalism was taken over by socdems
Replying with link my bad.
old.reddit.com
i guess this is a bad thing
Nah. They were actually dumb enough to mod along side capitalists
Great, so capitalist apologetics are okay, but if you call someone "stupid" you get banned.
Is this real? if so how the fuck do these heavily moderated subreddits manage to be the biggest in the left side? do they have good discussions?
In a nutshell lmao.
We should probably take this opportunity to uncuck whatever there is of Marxist-Leninism on the left. A lot of them are idpozzed losers, but having one of the bastions of the idpol left being taken down is only a good thing in my eyes. Particularly since we can just blame the succdems for being utter losers.
Don't know how reddit works, how does this even happen? Was the BO hacked or something? According to the /r/socialism thread the people that were banned were pretty much the only people doing any work, pic related (blue names were banned). One redditor suspects this is related to the ongoing Venezuelan coup attempt and moderating astroturf propaganda in its favor.
/r/latestagecapitalism was what originally radicalized me, or at least made me realize that communism was more than gulags and giant Stalin portraits. It'll be a real shame if I check back in a year and see nothing but Sanders Warren spam and "we need a mix of both systems" apologia.
Around the rose, never be exposed
socdems prove to be fascists yet again
Trusted the rose, serves them right
r/LateStageCapitalism is for posting out of date images of articles and woke tweets
Y O U ' R E G O L D E N
This stickied mod post is from just an hour ago. According to the remaining mods the coup was just some personal spat, which might be bullshit but tbh even if they're succdems taking an explicitly anti imperialist stance is pretty noble.
r/latestagecapitalism was the epitome of SJW radlib insanity. You could literally be banned for saying 'stupid' because that's apparently "ableist" now. The old mods were also psychos who would harass people for inconsequential wrongthink.
As long as the new mods don't impose their bias on the sub this can only be a good thing.
r/latestagecapitalism was more laissez-faire in regards to "ableism" than r/socialism and r/communism. The moderation of the latter has absolutely killed any discussion, just compare the amount of subs (pretty high) to the average posting time and the amount of comments - or lack thereof - under the articles posted.
It's kinda surprising that they've been undermined by SocDems now considering I remember the moderation of LSC to be quite ☭TANKIE☭. Venezuelan detractors got banned and called enemy of the people.
I remember early LSC being actually impressive. The images posted were very striking anti-consumerism/-capitalism.
Never trust the rose
There are other posters on here who can explain the specifics of this better than me, but essentially reddit is a completely controlled platform and a large portion of the staff are outright intelligence agency assets and collaborators.
It's really not, because I can guarantee this is exactly why they sub got taken over, despite whatever lipservice they pay towards anti-imperialism. Remember the mod team can remove, ban and edit whatever they like and that will definitely involve any serious discussion about Venezeula outside of "thoughts & prayers", whilst well-poisoners and wreckers will be allowed to run rampant
Why don't you go back and stay back?
And nothing of value was lost.
Nobody should be on reddit anyway. Most of it isn't real. Most of it is astroturfing by large companies and intelligence services with an API key or a thousand. It's a great danger to society that molds the status quo. Anyone around before 2015 elections that used to hang out in /r/politics can easily tell the difference. It was like a light switch. You can notice new subreddits setup in one day and make it to the front page with like 24,000 upvotes on that new subreddit in another 12 hours is clear manipulation. -17 downvotes to an automated "thanks!" bot in a brand new thread a minute after it posted the comment is massive clear manipulation abilities.
The internet was a fucking mistake. It's awful. It used to be a good german quality precision tool for only the best and brightest of the countries and then normies got ahold of it and fucked it up beyond any recognition. Now its like a 4x warranty returned harbor freight tool someone used in porn to spin a dildo in someone's asshole.
Absolutely garbage read. The Counterpunch article it links to about the same thing is infinitely better.
Do any of you have any more articles/sources on the mechanics of astroturfing/psyops/etc and how exactly they're used on social media platforms like Reddit? I always find these reads interesting
the digression into software design is more interesting than the bit about sesame street imo
i'm still trying to find more authoritative information on that
???
this is literally the fucking problem, it's not about "taking a stance"
They deserved it, being identitarian fags. I could never even post there, for having posted beforehand on a verboten sub. As long as they don't delete the threads, it won't change at all.
Reddit is full of class traitors. No surprise.
According to the mods, they won't be deleting comments now either so Capitalism and Imperialism can get more views and an equal space to propagandize.
Remaining mods are Hillary/Kamala supporters from /r/politics I heard.
