r/latestagecapitalism was the epitome of SJW radlib insanity. You could literally be banned for saying 'stupid' because that's apparently "ableist" now. The old mods were also psychos who would harass people for inconsequential wrongthink.
As long as the new mods don't impose their bias on the sub this can only be a good thing.

r/latestagecapitalism was more laissez-faire in regards to "ableism" than r/socialism and r/communism. The moderation of the latter has absolutely killed any discussion, just compare the amount of subs (pretty high) to the average posting time and the amount of comments - or lack thereof - under the articles posted.

It's kinda surprising that they've been undermined by SocDems now considering I remember the moderation of LSC to be quite ☭TANKIE☭. Venezuelan detractors got banned and called enemy of the people.

I remember early LSC being actually impressive. The images posted were very striking anti-consumerism/-capitalism.

There are other posters on here who can explain the specifics of this better than me, but essentially reddit is a completely controlled platform and a large portion of the staff are outright intelligence agency assets and collaborators.

It's really not, because I can guarantee this is exactly why they sub got taken over, despite whatever lipservice they pay towards anti-imperialism. Remember the mod team can remove, ban and edit whatever they like and that will definitely involve any serious discussion about Venezeula outside of "thoughts & prayers", whilst well-poisoners and wreckers will be allowed to run rampant
