St. Louis here. I don't care for the weather and the city is insanely segregated but if you have an ok job it's very affordable.

Boils down to being aesthetically pleasing and having decent weather.

Because jobs in SF can have really high salaries. However most people who move their end up getting jack shit. It’s conferring to know though that SF is less than 1% of America’s population.

That’ll make it easy to Siege out the megacities. Also rural areas are massively overrepresented politically because of the electoral collage.

In Detroit you can buy a house for less that 1 grand.

Most people moving to America come from Latin America, which has all the problems America has, but it’s also the third world. And people born in America are so nationalist that they rarely emigrate. No one from Europe moves here.
