Here's a half rant/ half question. Apparently the slugshot is illegal in California. A slugshot is just a rope with a weight at the end of it, but I believe it is a felony to carry one. My question though is the legality of a monkey fist. It's effectively the same concept, but the fist is not made of metal(though I hear it's common to put a marble or bearing in the center). Since I cannot CC legally, it would be nice to have a reach advantage against some asshole with an knife.
