The hell did you even do that?
Is this some airsoft shit?

Second. What is that and how did you break it? I thought that rail was milled onto most uppers.

Can't tell from the potato cam, is that a poly upper and lower?

Poly upper Anderson lower

You fucked up two times in a row

Yerp. Buy a stripped aluminum upper and have a hell of a lot of fun taking the parts off and putting them on the new one. You're going to want an uper vice block and a good AR wrench.

Any reason not to like Anderson lowers

What's wrong with Anderson? I have one that's been working fine for a while

...

Goddammit fat finger on phone

I always hated the wheeler one, but if it works for you that's what counts. So did that happen during firing or what?

Hey OP if you can please take a pic of the upper at an overhead angle I want to see how they attached the rail to the plastic. I've seen a shrubmaster with what looks like two really stubby flat head screws holding it place. I especially want to know since I can't see how they kept them together without assuming it's glue or some kind of dovetail thing.

Pounded it back into place with a nylon hammer, is not attached at all on the back dropped it from waist height and it just popped off gonna go rezero it on sunday

Just hold really low

Do you have a petroleum jelly on your phone's camera or what?

They and PSA cut corners which impact QA and resulted in the offset buffer retainer pin due to their trained monkeys drilling the hole out of place.
Worst case scenarios involve trigger assembly/safety/mag release holes not lining up or being undersized, upper receiver pivot pin lugs breaking off, and the interior of the magwell being under/oversized.

The majority come out just fine, but they have way too many problems to be acceptable.

Epoxy, the same way it was glued on in the first place. Boy that is a shitty AR…

man these #oneless guys are getting weirder and weirder

get a real gun amerimutt

People actually buy plastic uppers?
People still buy anderson lowers when aero exists and is nearly the same price?

you bought a polymer upper, you bought this on yourself.

If your only choice is to buy a polymer AR, that's a sign that you don't have enough money to own guns yet.

why does this exist?

Cheap and lightweight.

That's hardly a good enough reason, you ask me.

It's like fast-food. People buy it because it is quick and cheap, not because it is good.

this is why god made guns out of metal and wood.

Go with the fully-automatic gas option, or else you really aren't ready to own a gun.

Amazing that the kid inherited his father's shiteating smirk. Really lends credence to the theory of epigenetics.

Like so many other fucking things in the US market (and not even remotely limited to firearms), because 80-90% of the consumer base will never use it, or at the least not enough for any catastrophic failures to happen. When a failure does happen, the customer sometimes won't even bother dealing with warranty work (if that even applies), and therefore it ends up costing the company nothing to make a substandard product, instead it turns a huge profit for them.

It's changing little by little, but the vast majority of the 'gun owning public' are still the types to buy a gun, maybe shoot it once, then put it in the safe/closet/trunk and never touch it again unless something happens, which by then it's too fucking late to realize they massively fucked up because the ne'er do well is going to beat them to death with a baseball bat then rape their wife and dog while the kids are forced to watch.

What the fuck?

WHAT THE FUCK?

I'm sorry but retardation is a life affecting illness, their is hope that you might be able to manage to symptoms if you try hard enough.

>Anderson Lower
Throw that in the trash, ASAP.

Strelok, if you're a poorfag like myself, then just get a stripped metal upper and transfer all the parts off the poly upper and onto the metal one. I'm not gonna rip on you about the lower since I own an Anderson too, but Jesus Christ man… If you're gonna budget an AR, you better at least devote the majority of your money to the upper!

For how cheap they are, and the repeated good runs I've had with Anderson/PSA, I'm willing to do that.

What in the FUCK

here's a thought

instead of buying multiple trashy guns

you buy one that's actually good

epoxy

I wonder if anyone makes a steel AR receiver set.

DPMS did once, you might find used ones somewhere. There are also flat kits like this (theflatspot.net/ar-15-receiver-flat.html) for welding. No practical reason get one besides the "muh wood and steel" meme, or if you're trying to set up a mass nigerrigging operation to arm people for SHTF. If you really want to max out the meme personally I'm only autistic enough for wooden handguards, and have money to burn, you can probably find a custom shop willing to forge and blue a steel lower for you.

I already did. Trashy guns are guns I can have more fun with and not worry about my $1,600 custom AR getting scuffed.

If we were talking about an engraved Blaser you might have a point, but this is just pure faggotry.

Here's your (you).

Is that a Turnbull TAR-15? If so there is another sexy, sexy option for a steel upper and lower.

user, you're supposed to buy good guns so that when they get scuffed and banged they don't break.
An Anderson or PSA can break right out of the box if it doesn't arrive broken.

What's wrong with you?

buy a new upper
