The military is a babysitting service/tax dollar laundering scheme of a size and scope unseen on the planet up until this point. It is, and I do mean this, 80+ percent people there to do the minimum time, get their free collegewelfarebux, and leave. They have no allegance to anything but the almighty god of free shit.
If you think your country's military is any different, have a look see at those often-reposted recruitment ads they have. This is the case almost everywhere and I have no idea how we're going to get out of this hell but remember: The military is no more your friend than the police is when shit hits the fan. They have allegance to the almighty welfare system and it is in them and their incredible arsenal's best interests to keep it that way when push comes to shove.
