How to slowly but surely change myself?

What are some small and big goals(like no fap and no porn) I should set to change myself.

Nofap, noporn, nochan, noreddit, make a massive list of books to read through, do a 5x5 workout to gain muscle quick (do a ton of cardio on the off days), and try talking to people irl even if it’s just a tiny conversation

I would go further and curtail your Internet usage. Fasting is not just food, but you can fast from the Internet, fast from electronics, etc. Anything that distracts you from God. If you read the Bible, you'll frequently see many prophets and men of God going into the wilderness to seek God. Jesus would spend all night on top of a mount to pray. John the Baptist was in the wilderness. Go into the wilderness. Regrading books, I suggest reading the Bible first and foremost. You'll need to start reading the Bible ASAP if you're serious about being a Christian.

Fast with no food and no water Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday weekly as a default (increases for holy seasons only), minimum technology usage, maximum exercise and studying. Pray at least at 9 AM, 12 PM, 3 PM, and 6 PM per day (preferably also with 6 AM and 9 PM) as well.

Read the Bible, go to Church, pray. Give it time.

You can't do it by yourself. That's a false idol. Only by grace you will receive your licit desires become reality.

Pray a lot. He works slowly but surely in you. Don't be discouraged (those are demons). PRAY, ASK FOR IT

you could also try waking up early, sleeping early, exercising for 30 minutes everyday, have a set time to pray for an hour everyday.

Start small and make it a habit, eventually level up with greater structure by adopting the liturgy of the hours, and saying the morning and evening prayers (which are the "hinge" to the entire hours).

Keep improving OP!

i disagree with fasting on sunday, as ideally your partaking in the sacrament of the Eucharist, and as it is written "Can the children of the bridechamber fast, while the bridegroom is with them? as long as they have the bridegroom with them, they cannot fast."

since your boy JC is within you and you within him, there is actually no reason to fast; enjoy and be exceedingly glad, for your Savior is with you. but yeah great suggestions

STUDY: Happiest Teens Use Digital Media Less Than An Hour A Day…

Also, make sure to pray at 3 and at 7, make a reminder to pray at those times

Wish I could do that…but I need to work most of those days and at those times.

Go into a forest with 0 human interaction, pray constantly until you starve to death

The only true answer

Literally only good answer. Disregard all the holier-than-thou wannabe-saints telling you to never eat and pray constantly.

All you need:

This is some of the worst advice I heard in relation to practical improvements. This might work for someone who is seeking to "experience grace" or "get closer to God" or "improve their humility" or some such notions…But when it comes to tangible improvements you need to put effort, daily, you need discipline, you need to have some confidence in yourself and that isn't idolatry you weirdos, that's just common sense.

I had an urge to buy food for some homeless persons I saw from the train this morning…
But I was afraid to be charitable in public, to stand out, so I resisted and didn't do it in the end…
I feel shameful about it, and I have no excuses.

15 minutes of prayer a day and 30minutes of spiritual reading.
Find out your biggest defect and tackle it first. You'll find a lot of the smaller ones disappear after.
For example, say you have anger and sexual immorality issues but you find out your biggest issue is you have no willingness to suffer, you become willing to suffer those two issues go away or are greatly reduced.

Don't be user. Even heathens are charitable at times. You won't stand out or make a spectacle of yourself, or be like the hypocrites who love to stand and pray in the synagogues and corners of the streets, that they may seen by man.

Hey, I'm all for nofap, noporn, fasting exercising, eating healthy and all other types of self-improvement and I try my best to do all those things. But I don't fool myself for a second into thinking doing these things would be even possible without God's grace. And chanting dead prayers and not eating for a week in order to appear holy to others does nothing.

Yeah, I would add to this and say that exercising willpower is like a muscle, you need to train it and develop it over time. Part of the reason why the Bible says faith without works is dead. Be persistent!

How exactly is that "showing off"?. I get that you're a protty and you don't do that stuff but there's no need to be so insulting towards those that do.

What does it mean to "chant" prayers?
How is it that fasting is some form of attention-seeking?

No one who prays or fast does it to impress you.
You can't understand people have separate lives from you.

I've never been able to ask for selfish stuff like that in prayer. Asking for things taints the whole experience and then I just feel really bad. I might be the last member of a soon to be extinct family line, surrounded by heathens and infidels in a sprawling ghetto, and been reduced to performing drudge labor after injuries ended my career, but I still feel like there are others that are more deserving of help.

Why be slow and sure? Be radical, immediate and wrenching.

Also, if you're concerning yourself about sanctification, lol, don't worry, the Holy Spirit, if He is truly within you, will NNNEEEEEEEVVVVEEEEEEERRRR allow you to sit still in the unrighteousness you're in. He will force change upon you.

But, for now, study the Scriptures and He will start to inform you of what He wants you to do.

her eye big

Stop posting that image, it's from an adult video. Reverse image search confirms my suspicion.

I confirm.

No fap, no porn. Your sacrifice will be unacceptable to God unless you stop gravely sinning

Edit your hosts file and block websites. Only exception I make (so far) is the Zig Forums imageboard, I no longer have any urge to visit halfchan which is surprising due to my long-time addiction to chan. Also, getting world news and discussion in a christian environment such as this board (despite its shortcomings) allows me to stay sane in this insane world.
