Just pray to god and sacrifice some of your own idols. Internet, articles of popular culture, video games etc are all contemporary idols so maybe your answer is a mirror, and through this faith then mercy might be granted.

Gideon was absolutely correct in doing what he did, as were the other idol destroyers of the Old Testament. But Gideon et al. were also dealing with pagans whose faith was so connected with the idols that they could be shut down by just breaking their stuff (and even then, it didn't always work.). The Nihilist New Age Neopagans of today are a different breed. Their idols are just window dressing for their vaguely "spiritual but not religious" free-for-all worldview. OP breaking into his sister's house and smashing her stuff is just going to anger her, make him come off as a nut, and possibly land him in jail.

OP obviously shouldn't compromise, and hold hands and sing Kumbaya with her, but breaking, entering and vandalizing is the opposite extreme in terms of stupidity and will just create more problems.

Thinking about it more, since the crime is based on hatred of sister's religion, it'll probably be prosecuted as a hate crime.

I'd say something more akin to a domestic dispute, hope they find a good Christian judge.

Depends on how the prosecution wants to handle it. Most likely her lawyer would prosecute it as hate crime and destruction of property, but would be willing to make a deal with OP to get the charges down to "domestic dispute".

Depending on how angry he makes his sister, she may not even offer a deal.
