We Christians (Catholic perspective) don't need that. We have holy water, blessed salt, miraculous medals, St. Benedict medals, and so on, to protect us from evil. Not to mention certain prayers, and many things like that. We laity can do simple exorcisms to curb the influence of the devil, and so on. No need to outsource.

I do think prayer is a kind of white magic, in the end all white magic share the same goals.

From my understanding (I'm not saying is the holy truth, but from what I can tell from my own readings about christian and non christian stuff) Jesus is still an elevated master, I'm not sure if he's the son of god, but he seems at bare minimal to be an elevated soul from the highest dimentions that came back to try to steer human collective souls into a positive direction.

I like to think Jesus came to live to serve as the blueprint of a moral life, by setting up his life as the moral example we should all live.

This is an annoying topic to discuss. There are things that seem magical that warrant death in Christianity and things that seem magical that are encouraged by the church. It ultimately depends on what you're doing but if it's voluntary that's easy to discern because you can consult a priest before you do it. What worries me is the schizos who have mystical experiences forced upon them that would warrant death if voluntary such as communication with demons. It's almost as if it's a condition that forces slavery to sin because it removes the voluntary aspect.

I would suggest that you sit down and meditate on Christ and His life and His works, His teachings and His parables, His Passion, Death, and Resurrection.
