halloween is pagan

Nothing, I'm just going to hand out candy.

No Halloween is Christian.

halloween is 100% christian, it's the day before the feast of all saints day

...

Halloween isn't Christian.
Where is that in the Orthodox calendar? The first Saturday after Pentecost? That's not October though, and we don't celebrate death while dressing up as demons or ghosts or blood-covered monsters from horror movies.

Probably dressing up in a t-shirt and pants, shoes. Usually restaurants kick you out without some combination of the three, and I'd like to go out to eat for a change.

Uneducated amerikike.

With the fall advancing, I think it's almost certainly going to be to be a time for long underpants… wait, you said dressing up as, not dressing in. In any case I'm not expecting to wear anything special or do anything special on the date under question.

Halloween is Satanic

I will be dressing as this powerful demon, I hope is not so cold.

Halloween is pagan and whoever celebrates it goes to hell.

He's right though. The costume stuff is absolutely anti-christ. The origin of it comes from the Troubadours, the medieval minstrels of the Languedoc region of France, who just so happened to be Gnostics, specifically Cathars. The Troubadours used to trammel around Christian areas in animal and devil costumes, barging into peoples' houses, accosting them and their children.

Grew up assuming that but honestly I think it's a meme. It's like saying skulls are evil - we all have one. Halloween comes from 'all hallows' eve', which is a celebration of all the saints.

Now it's just a tradition for fun, really. Maybe we could actually think about its original meaning at some point.

The proper way to celebrate All Saints Day is solemn. You could go light up candles on relatives' graves or something. Maybe have a good meal together with the family. You could even read the Bible. Getting drunk in devil and sexy nurse costumes is not solemn.
