What does Zig Forums think about the Marian apparitions which the Roman Catholic Church venerates? What are your thoughts on Our Lady of Lourdes, or Our Lady of Guadalupe, or Our Lady of Fatima?

Demons

Why are you all so afraid of admitting that God channels power through the Roman Church?

Ayahuasca use was very common among the indigenous people

What's the point of these apparitions? It's so pointless.

Had those in Lithuania too.

Heresy from whose point of view, schismatic? Not mine.

The point is to uplift the faithful. It's to reassure those of us who struggle, and remind us that God is real and that he still works wonders in the world. It's not to convert the Godless, but rather to remind the faithful that God is real.

Sounds like rationalization.

Rationalization of what, exactly? The sun dances in the sky. Eucharists bleed. Statues weep. People are healed of illnesses. Prophecies of the future are made. What are we rationalizing, exactly? It seems to me that I'm presenting objective facts–evidence–and you can choose for yourself what you think.

But it is very funny that atheists so often accuse us of lacking proof when we have more proof than they think.

marian apparitions are valid unless the apparition doesn't have feet. If it doesn't have feet, it's probably the devil, because satan fears the feet that will crush his head more than anything, such that he cannot depict them.

to be fair, spic-mary lacks feet, and satan fears mary's feet. guadalupe is probably satan.

you literally made a counter argument to an atheist with a picture of a statue that appears to be lacrimating through the side of it's nose. there's an objective anatomical issue here that screams at me to the idiot whose hoaxed this bleeding to at least wipe the virgin's face after using her to make lies.

if one is to argue against atheists, you have to beat the hell out of them. not present them targets that anyone can pick off from a distance and use to beat the hell out of you yourself with as I have just done. you've literally just presented the ass-end of a hoax to an atheist so that he can debunk it and make the lot of us look like pious frauds and asses.

I'm not an atheist. I just don't think this so called miracles has anything to do with Christianity.

Reminder that Fatima literally predicted WWII and there is nothing you can do about it.

Actually, how does the Church even confirm these apparitions? How does the process work?

Guadalupe shows foot, though.

THIS IS A CHRISTIAN BOARD, FOOT FETISHISTS ARE NOT ALLOWED

My question is: why would our Mother be crying tears of blood? God doesn’t glory in the macabre, and it seems almost satanic to me. However, seeing as I’m Orgogogs, we have similar events with icons smelling like myrrh and have even be found weeping. And of course, if it isn’t a fraud, there’s that bible that was producing gallons of oil that was making a fuss on here a while back.

Pray to God for discernment, separating true miracles from pious frauds

Brodesdandd here, Our Lady of Zeitoun seems pretty legitimate.

Mary is in heaven.
Statues are statues.

I regularly see a spirit that claims to be Mary. Her behavior fits with the apparitions, from healing to prophecy.

We're not a hivemind.
I have no problem with them. Mary is a pretty cool dude. What I want to know is why so many people hate Mary.

They correctly predict the current pitiful state of the church.
Repent and convert

Mary reached Theosis, and thus by the grace of her Son and God, she can answer and intercede for her children by adoption on earth. Yes, statues in and of themeselves are not living, but by god’s grace, they can be animated.

Does “she” say that her Son Jesus Christ was truly God in the Flesh? “By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you heard was coming and now is in the world already.” (1 John 4:2-3)

This is actually a fair point. All the verified Marian apparitions mention Christ. She's usually pretty clear that she's merely an intermediary, albeit one with a certain amount of distinction.

all people hallucinate, its just in anglo countries people who receive them are sent to the psych ward

That’s funny, most people have doubts about holy things, but it’s only in western countries that people who openly flaunt their doubt are praised as “wise”.

I was somewhat convinced by it but when some user said that the painting looked similar to vagina flaps I couldn't unsee it.

GAAAAAH YOU CURSED ME. Now I can't look at it without thinking of brown pussy.

If the person who made it had that in mind then it's the biggest prank known to mankind that tricked over a billion people into thinking it's from God.

There are worse religious "pranks" that the Mexicans buy into.

Attached: 2-santa-muerte-syvorov-ilia.jpg (676x900, 98.41K)

Talking about dia de los muertos?

The artist probably had no such thing in mind. If people stop jerking off to porn, they would probably lose this illusion as well. What I’m trying to say is get your mind out of the gutter.

ah, my bad. I could barely see it.

Our Lady of Medjugorje certainly does not have feet, though.

It's not fetishism. I agree that such a thing is rather weird.

Mary will crush the serpent's head, and so satan is fearful of her feet and thus cannot depict them when he tries to deceive people with false visions.

thus: sure sign of a non-diabolical apparition – feet.

...

You mean that thing that happens every month on the dot for 30+ years, unlike literally every other Marian Apparition?

This.

I mean, Jesus sweat blood while praying at Gethsemane.

Does this picture of Mary picture slightly resemble a vagina? Is that supposed to be symbolic or is it just my sick imagination? Please tell me i'm not the only one who notices this.

Shh don't think too much, you might end up not likeing Roman Catholicism

Holy shit you guys really are a joke

Stop masterbating and looking at porn, this is tge equivalent of middle school children trying to find things that look like cock and balls or pussy in the environment just for a cheap laugh. You’re better than this.

No u, papist

Retard

I think we might have about three years before the prophecies Mary gave at Akita will come to pass. Not claiming to know or anything, it's just a guess.

As an Orthodox I approve the Marian Apparitions because my Patriarch does. Pic related of my Patriarch, John X, celebrating the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe.

(checked)
whoa, interdasting

...

Imagine seeing an image of the virgin Mary and the only thing you can think about is something sexual.

You have problems

Miracles of Our Lord's mercy. Blessed be Mary, the vehicle for all graces.

Political cartoonists predicted WWII too. Anyone with half a brain and a quarter of an attention span knew full well that the "peace" agreement that ended WWI was not going to last. The elite bankers didn't want it to last.

Those are just Aztec Gods. No big deal (cant even lift 200 tons lol, what is this? Marvel cinematic Universe?)

This makes as little sense as Pius XII more or less canonizing Sergius of Radonezh.

BING!!

No one's afraid of that – we'll admit God's Spirit is active and moving through the believers in the RCC.

But why Mary? EVERY FRICKIN' TIME "God" wants to communicate anything to the RCC, it's through that heretical-all-but-deification-of-Mary symbology. Never just an angel. Never Christ. Always Mary. Christ appears to Muslims, Africans and Chinese in visions, and they convert soon after like St. Paul did and cathbros are all like "yeah, whatever", but "Mary" pops in to say hello and everyone loses their minds. It just reeks of idolatrous groupthink.

Attached: veneration-cartoon.png (720x960, 72.65K)

Mary is a nice lady she just wants to say hello

first of all calling us idolators really makes us want to respond to your kind with eagerness and niceness. Should really work on talking with your fellow Christian brothers with charity.

Second of all, Jesus has appeared far more than Mary apparition-wise. And I mean an absolute ton. Mary is the Queen of the Saints, of course she's going to appear more than any other human, but Jesus has appeared far more than her. To act like only Mary has appeared to Catholics is ludicrous. There's a million places to start, but I would recommend:

The Diary of Saint Faustina
The Diary of Saint Gertrude the Great
The Letters of St. Catherine of Sienna
The Miracle of the Holy Fire
The Infant Jesus of Prague
The Visions of Blessed Edvige Carboni
The Eucharistic Miracles of Lanciana, Bolsena, and Buenos Aires to name a few
Saint Therese of Lisieux, Saint Seraphim Sarov, Saint Catherine of Siena, Saint Anthony of Padua, Saint Rose of Lima, Blessed Little Nellie of Holy God, Saint Christopher, and quite a few other Saints who interacted with the Child Jesus

And many many more where that came from.

You are an idolator

Fedora-tier arguments, and apparently you’re hallucinating because half the shit you’re getting from these posts isn’t even there.

Odd since they're literally direct responses and based on observations of this particular heresy.

Why is Pope Pius XII making Saint Sergius a Saint strange to you? Patriarch Bartholomew did the exact same thing when he canonized Saint Stephen of Hungary in 2000. Both Churches do this, they share Saints, it is a wonderful sign of ecumenism.
