My normy reformed Church loves the guy when I go there but Steven Anderson hates him.

Yikes!

Billy Graham did more to advance the Gospel than this entire board combined ever will. I don't agree with all of his methods, but the people throwing the most hate barely evangelise at all.

His biggest problems were his ecumenism, getting too cozy with Catholics and compromising a full gospel. Otherwise he deserves immense respect. The southern seminary school of evangelism is named after him.

This

I've never actually heard anything bad about the guy, as a Catholic, I like the guy.

" Earlier that month, Fulton had appeared at the National Prayer Breakfast in Washington D.C. He had accepted the invitation against the advice of his cardiologist, Dr. Bruno, who accompanied him to the event. Officials asked Billy Graham, who was present, to be ready to fill in should Sheen be unable to carry on. Graham wrote later, “Even as he made his halting way to the podium, I silently prayed that God would grant him the necessary physical and spiritual strength.”

“Mr. President,” Fulton began, turning toward the chief executive and his wife, “you are a sinner.” Having everyone’s undivided attention, he then pointed to himself and said, “I am a sinner.” He looked around the huge ballroom at the sophisticated and influential spectators, and continued, “We are all sinners, and we all need to turn to God…” Graham wrote, “He then went on the preach one of the most challenging and eloquent sermons I have ever heard.”

Jimmy Carter, who had often watched Sheen on television, wrote many years later, “It was a real pleasure and an unforgettable experience for me to meet him in person, and I especially appreciated his coming to National Prayer Breakfast while I was president. With the possible exception of Billy Graham, Bishop Sheen was the most well-known and admired person there–including presidents and other dignitaries.”

He was a great Christian. Anderson is autistic. Honestly, he's good for entertainment, but the guy is the Jerry Springer of pastors.

Revelation 22:18 KJV — For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:

Don't peddle false prophecy

Say what you will about him, but we can't deny he brought people to Christ

Steve is only for laughs, never forget that.

Doesn't seem like that was a prophecy of the end of times. Stop being a legalist

What do you think legalism means

Trying to apply law to circumstances as you see fit.

It firstly means keeping to rules in order to receive salvation

Revelation isn't even a book of the law though

...

Indifferentism

Reformed church? What denom op

I admire Billy Graham for introducing people to Jesus, but I wonder if he really is introducing him at times. Jesus never made salvation that easy. You can't even argue his "harder sayings" were in "fine print": They are all blatantly out there and upfront. The Christian walk was never intended to be easy. So if you're introducing others to a Christ who says this, and they eventually get into their bibles.. they'll just feel deceived by people like Graham.

Billy Graham never allowed himself to be alone with a woman who wasn't his wife or daughter. He would get off an elevator if he would be alone with a woman.

That's admirable, I wish I had that sort of perseverance.

He was redpilled on (((them)))

Steven Anderson is a meme.
