To be serious, only the Orthodox teach what the Church fathers taught. Consensus is always Orthodox. Catholics just teach what ONE taught… because he stupidly followed the Jews, who said at the time that angels were only creatures exclusively (this was because they didn't even believe in Christ and had to wipe out all reference to him.. just like they attempted everywhere else). Even his mentor St. Ambrose taught it. St. Justin Martyr (already in the 100s AD) was the first to call the OT appearances of Christ as the "Angel of Great Counsel". This eventually became the name of the Icon that has seen in many churches, starting as early as the 800s.

Which is already a ridiculous claim, because the Church Fathers contradict each other on many finer points of theology. The entire point of having an authentic Church vested with the authentic Holy Spirit is to make declarations on what is orthodox and what is heresy/heterodox.
