Beyond the statistics, it desensitizes you. Whether it's your sweetheart after prom, your bride on your wedding night, or a cheap hooker, you will never forget your first, but the more people you have sex with, the less special each one will be until it becomes a purely physical act. Look at people who have lots of sexual partners and want to convince you there's nothing wrong with that. They always talk about it as if it's a purely physical act, because to them, it is.
As God intended, though, it is a deeply spiritual act of bonding with your wife, of the two coming together with the end result being a new person mixed from the previous two. Satan cannot create, but he can corrupt, typically by removing love. Having sex outside of marriage is an extremely selfish act. Even if you're convinced you "LOVE" the person you're having sex with, you're not loving her enough to wait until marriage, and even if you set that aside, you two are so eager to get that physical pleasure that you will not set up the bear minimum needed to give the resulting child a real shot at life. Once love is removed from sex, it's nothing more than a drug, a releasing of chemicals for the purpose of feeling good, and like all drugs, it has diminishing returns. Love doesn't have diminishing returns, and only by making it a true act of love (and not the pale imitation society calls love) can you eliminate diminishing returns.

Man, these statistics made me feel awful for my chance at finding a proper wife.
Meanwhile, I feel envious of all these people committing fornication. I hate feeling this way. It makes me sad to see people fornicating left and right and facing no major punishments.
