Did he really do that? If he did, I'd honestly be kind of impressed.
What comes after GNU/Linux?
Well no shit? I just posted it because MS keeps deleting any mirrors of it after 14 years since the leak, smartass.
Great but will never reach mass adoption. Sad!
Really the Rust meme?
Because when people want to switch to a new OS for security reasons they use one backed by Google.
Multi-threaded HaikuPlan9/Mach with GNUSTEP Desktop
Cocoa is the only good Windowing Toolkit ever made. No other toolkit has a more elegant architecture, has services, or looks as nice as *STEP/Cocoa
Haiku is specifically for personal computing, it's cool and amazing but I don't know if a specific OS for the PC, phone and server is going to fly anymore.
A new model of computing will eventually come out. And no I'm not talking about quantum, I'm talking about stuff that actually hits consumers hands.
So any OS designed now is kinda worthless.
I think it's a good idea for a PC OS designed only for PC usage. We already have Android as a phone OS as well as other minor systems that are designed only for phone computers. We already have super flexible GNU/Linux systems that can be tuned for server scenarios and that can continue as it is.
No one wants to be assfucked by one million lawyers
