Question for German anons: Is National Socialism and love for the FÜHRER still alive and well in Germany, or is it just a very small fringe of society? I know you have some ridiculous laws against displaying the hakenkreuz or giving the Roman salute.

Sadly it's a small fringe of society. Decades of "De-Germanication" by the allied forces demonised everything related to the 3. Reich. Even simple folks are already being portraied as Nazis for being normal. Nobody in his right mind would openly admit to love the Führer or the 3. Reich unless he wants to lose his job, becoming a social outcast or to be beaten up on the spot by near by Antifas. I did it once on the street but only because the people around were strangers to me and not enough in numbers, strength or willpower to overpower me. There is a small number of people who do it openly regardless to any repercussions. But when I listen to people I am convinced that there is a huge number of silent adorers. These screepcaps explain the current situation pretty good.
The Jews want us to fight the Muslims while they shore up power. The way we win is by waking everyone up, and allying with the Muslims to eradicate the Jews.

It's on the fringe because it can, and will, ruin your life. Only those who have nothing to lose will be openly national socialist. But this enormous pressure makes it very hard to estimate the real numbers. There's about 10 percent on the radical right and perhaps 3-5 percent are extreme. But that is something you only show to those closest to you, if at all. I'd immediately volunteer for the Totenkopf, but only to closest family have I openly expressed extreme opinions, and another 10 or so know that I have an edgy radical humor. There are a few friends about whom I have a feeling, but it's very hard to tell whether they're moderate right-wingers, radicals, extremists, free-thinking cynics or merely conservatives with grim views. Perhaps it's nothing, or perhaps they also privately listen to SS marches. We're all being very cautious.
I feel for you, meine Kameraden. Is being National Socialist in itself illegal or is it just the NSDAP and similar organizations/the symbols of said organizations? I know you have some kind of ban on "unconstitutional groups" but is the ideology of National Socialism itself illegal as well?
Also is even posting/having pics of the Hakenkreuz on your phone or computer illegal or does it fall under the "educational/historical purposes" thing?
Die Gedanken sind frei. They still can't look into our heads but when you openly advocate National Socialism you can get punished for "hate crimes" because in leftist heads → National Socialism → gassing Jews → another shoah. Regarding to the symbolism we have a law to that.

Same with things like video games.. Commie skins and accesories in online or moddable games are A-OK… use a NatSoc related one and get instantly banned. Such hypocrisy.
