And the temperature has risen enough to allow permafrost to melt, release massive pockets of methane, which, unlike CO2 does not get as easily trapped in the Ocean and also creates a greenhouse effect.
DDT was only ONE pesticide, the others are simply less harmful, not unharmful. Bird populations are STILL declining massively because of environmental factors.
