Who here is actually involved in real life organising?

As far as I can tell its not particularly strong here. I live in a largely working class white town, the only significant minorities here are indigenous folks, and in my experience they tend to be pretty reasonable about these kinds of issues.

not today CIA

My impression is that attitudes about politics is an obstacle to this when it comes down to the actual work. Bigger strategic ideas on "the left" – that's politics. But the nitty gritty is more about various spy games. If you think about this in terms of a military or conflict thing (and in my area, it's not 'developed' enough to reach physical-force levels), then 'intelligence' so to speak is going to shape everything. Fortunately, the far right is really poor in this department

i wish. its really really hard when you are from america, let alone the south.

We're not tone deaf, ATF

What is that supposed to mean?

You just need to be really hardline on the fact you’re a union not an activist group. Focus on organising workplaces, don’t get sucked into the trap of becoming a protest group that turns up to demos organised by others with union banners

Intelligence is easy cos the far right are generally fucking stupid. Where I’m from there are the hooligans, football fans etc and then theirs the activists. The hooligans want to act the big man and as such refuse most forms of actual organisation, are also obsessed with it being their group which gets credits. The activists are all good at organisation and making flyers etc but inevitably bitch out of any fight. The two camps also don’t like each other at all so there is a load of moaning about who will work with who.

…. party building lmao…Where are you?
