I watched an interview between him and David Pakman where he calls Mattis "brilliant" and said Trump should have listened to him instead of letting him go. I don't know why, because I'm pretty sure Mattis would have never let him pull out of Syria.

I don’t know why you keep trying to push this meme, BO, the Freikorps weren’t the German military, they were mercenaries. The closest analogue the Freikorps in the US would be their “private military contractors”, like Blackwater.
