There's a lot of Catholics in Syria though.. and they're very much appreciated/needed/and need to be protected. Same with Iraq. This nun in particular has left a big impression on me.

There are so many things I can talk about here. Bashar is loved in his country by the Christians because they are both minorities, and so they stick out for each other. Over here though, I have not met a single Lebanese (Muslim or Christian) that even likes Bashar.

Same here (charities that is.. not to toot my own horn or anything. I just highly urge all of us to do it).

The reason we aligned with Israel is because it was either that or die. No other country was willing to help us. We were outnumbered. We were out of ammunition, weapons, and all the surrounding countries wanted to see us dead. We say this and we will continue to say it whenever someone brings this up: We would've even made a deal with the devil to ensure our existence.

Unfortunately the desire to do things for good isn't necessarily enough to ensure it, like with all those who have succumbed to destroying or looting heritage, among other destructive endeavors, to fund each others' destruction to give themselves a chance from not being utterly annihilated
